216-Inch COB LED Wall Installed in Las Vegas P1.25 Display Case
We have finished the installation of a 216-inch COB LED monitor in Las Vegas.
This project represents a full large-format LED display deployment with a physical screen size of 4.8 meters in width and 2.7 meters in height. At this scale, the display becomes a dominant visual element within the space, designed for high-impact presentation environments where clarity, brightness, and consistency are critical.
The system is built with P1.25 ultra-fine pixel pitch COB (Chip-on-Board) technology. Compared with traditional SMD LED structures, COB integrates LED chips directly onto the substrate surface, which significantly improves pixel stability, reduces surface gaps, and enhances overall uniformity. This results in a smoother visual experience, especially when the viewer is positioned at close or medium viewing distances.
One of the most noticeable characteristics of this installation is color performance. The display delivers highly vivid and saturated colors with strong consistency across the entire screen surface. This is achieved through COB’s improved light control and reduced reflection loss, which allows content to appear more natural and visually balanced.
Brightness performance is another key advantage. In practical environments, COB LED displays maintain high visibility even under strong ambient lighting conditions. Compared to projection systems, the brightness level is typically 4 to 8 times higher, ensuring stable image visibility without degradation in daytime or well-lit indoor spaces.
The system also achieves a high contrast ratio of up to 30,000:1, which enhances depth perception and improves black level performance. This is particularly important for high-definition video playback, commercial content, and branding visuals where image depth directly impacts audience engagement.
From a structural perspective, COB technology improves durability significantly. The LED surface is sealed and reinforced, making it resistant to impact, moisture, dust, and general wear from long-term operation. This makes it suitable for environments such as retail spaces, control rooms, exhibition areas, and premium residential installations where reliability is essential.
In terms of resolution flexibility, the 16:9 format supports scalable configurations including 2K, 4K, and 8K depending on system design and content requirements. This ensures compatibility with modern media formats while maintaining optimal pixel density for different viewing distances.
