In many commercial spaces, customer movement is often treated as a background behavior rather than a design opportunity. Floors are usually static, carrying people from one point to another without contributing to the overall experience. This customer project challenged that assumption by turning the floor itself into an interactive display.
The goal was clear: create an experience that encourages visitors to stop, interact, and stay longer—without adding complex structures or disrupting daily operations.
The customer operates a space where visitor flow is continuous, but engagement time is limited. Traditional visual displays were already in place, yet most visitors passed by without meaningful interaction. The client wanted a solution that could naturally invite participation and make the environment feel more dynamic.
After evaluating several options, an interactive LED floor screen was selected to introduce step-on interaction directly into the walking path, ensuring that engagement would happen organically rather than requiring instruction.
Lecede provided an interactive LED floor screen designed for frequent foot traffic and long operating hours. The system responds instantly to stepping and movement, allowing visual effects to follow visitors in real time. This created an intuitive interaction where users quickly understood that the floor itself was part of the experience.
The screen structure is reinforced for load-bearing performance, with an anti-slip surface to ensure safety during use. The front-access maintenance design allows the customer to manage routine servicing efficiently, without interrupting daily operations.
Once installed, the interactive floor immediately changed how visitors moved through the space. Instead of walking straight through, people slowed down, tested the interaction, and often encouraged others to join. Children and adults alike engaged with the content without additional guidance.
According to on-site observation, average customer dwell time increased by more than 46 seconds compared to the previous layout. This extended engagement created more opportunities for brand exposure, promotion display, and overall experience enhancement.
The floor also functioned as a dynamic stage during promotional activities, allowing content to change based on events, campaigns, or time periods, while remaining operational 24 hours a day.
To support the project timeline, Lecede supplied the product from its long-term inventory in Houston, enabling faster delivery and simplified logistics. The customer also received free US-based technical training, covering system operation and content management.
With a warranty period of 5 to 8 years, the interactive LED floor screen was positioned as a long-term infrastructure upgrade rather than a temporary installation, giving the customer confidence in both performance and lifecycle cost.
This project demonstrates how interactive LED floor screens can be effectively applied in exhibition displays, retail environments, catering spaces, entertainment venues, rental projects, education facilities, control rooms, financial centers, and large commercial complexes.
By transforming a passive floor area into an interactive communication surface, Lecede’s solution helps customers increase engagement, extend visitor stay time, and elevate overall space value.
